Of course, Sam Phillips wouldn't hear of it, but the idea -- along with concept albums of gospel, train songs, and others -- all came to fruition when he moved to Columbia Records. This concept album is a 20-track set (vol 2. 10 track) that combines songs and narrations, the bulk of which were recorded in 1965 (the lone exception is Carl Perkins' "The Ballad of Boot Hill," which originates from a 1959 session). One of Cash's best concept albums. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Cash

Tracklist.

A1 Bury Me Not On The Lone Prairie
A2 Mean As Hell
A3 Sam Hall
A4 25 Minutes To Go
A5 The Blizzard
B1 Sweet Betsy From Pike
B2 Green Grow The Lilacs
B3 Stampede
B4 The Shifting, Whispering Sands, Part II
B5 Reflecftions
