Cover EX.

"Why Don't You Do Right" starts things off in a mellow, soulful vein, and "Caravan" is all about the beat. While "The Elgart Touch" is a lazy, quiet, Southern-sounding ballad, more typical of their new sound is "Harlem Nocturne." Its discotheque (rock) beat and basic solos are nothing new, just surprisingly effective. In the jazzier "And the Angels Sing," theElgarts try a variety of things over a subtle mambo rhythm. Adventurous as it is, The New Elgart Touch has a winsomely tentative quality, like the bossa nova beat itself, that makes it cooler and more listenable than most mod brass. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_Elgart

Tracklist.

01) Why Don't You Do Right

02) Caravan

03) The Elgart Touch

04) And the Angels Sing

05) Little Brown Jug

06) Adios

07) Harlem Nocturne

08) String of Pearls

09) Brazil

10) Opus One

11) Green Eyes

12) Muskrat Ramble

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0067/2072/products/2221884_les_larry_elgart_the_new_elgart_touch.jpg?v=1571438713
