Cover NM.
This two-disc package features highlights from several concerts by Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald during the Le Festival International de Jazz d'Antibes-Juan-les-Pins in the south of France between July 26 and July 29, 1966. Both jazz legends are in top form throughout and the obvious affection between them results in some sublime musical interaction. This LP set also includes a pair of additional Ellington pieces -- "The Trip" and "Jive Jam" -- from the 29th. Although the collection lacks the organic cohesion of a singular performance, the 18 tracks do feature some undeniably prime moments. Of the nine vocals, only three -- "Mack the Knife," "It Don't Mean a Thing...," and "Just Squeeze Me..." -- feature both Sir Duke and Ella together.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ella_Fitzgerald

Tracklist.

A1 Mack The Knife
A2 The Old Circus Train Turnaround Blues
A3 Lullaby Of Birdland
B1 Trombonio-Bustaso-Issimo
B2 Going Out Of My Head
B3 How Long Has This Been Going On?
B4 Dimuninuendo In Blue And Blow By Blow
C1 It Don't Mean A Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)
C2 All Too Soon
C3 Misty
D1 Jazz Samba
D2 Rose Of The Rio Grande
D3 The More I See You
D4 El Viti (The Matador)
D5 Squeeze Me
