Although blistering at times, the Scandinavian headbanger wasn't one to shy away from melody -- something he definitely uses to his advantage on this riveting Album. A goth metal treasure focusing on witchcraft and the occult, The Eye wasn't nearly as successful as it deserved to be. Definitely heavier than pop-metal but certainly more melodic than thrash bands like Vio-Lence and Dark Angel, The Eye fell through the cracks.

Tracklist

Eye Of The Witch
The Trial (Chambre Ardente)
Burn
Two Little Girls
Into The Convent
Father Picard
Behind These Walls
The Meetings
Insanity
1642 Imprisonment
The Curse

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0067/2072/products/king-diamond-the-eye-lp-_aubergine-farvet-vinyl_-31.jpg?v=1588048560
