The story of Cameron Mackintosh conceiving this project upon hearing an operatic studio recording of South Pacific featuring Jose Carrerras and Kiri Te Kanawa should be familiar to most fans. From there, he would send album producer David Caddick trotting across the globe with kilometers' worth of master tape in tow, assembling tracks featuring the finest of performers from around the world.

Tracklist.

LP1 SIDE A:
1.
