It might seem unnecessary to point this out, but though lead singer Hans Marius Weihe Ziska´s vocal is the center of things, the set-up carrying (part of) his name is a tightly knit seven piece orchestra, which has worked together for years and likes to record one-takes of the whole band playing together live in the studio.
Home/Heim is a milestone of an album – weaving a dreamy journey into landscapes of melodic rock and classic singer/songwriter virtues. The lyrics switching midway from English to Faroese (and even some Icelandic) as the most natural thing.
The single “Going Home” is also the first song on the album, and with its clear and beautiful references to Simon & Garfunkel´s finest moments, it adds a North Atlantic flavour which seems to come directly from the windy mountains of this gem of an island. The beautiful music video only adds to this impression.

119.95 dkr

Tracklist

Home
The House
Let's Not Fall Apart
Going Home
Shades
Heim
Villingarsjonin
Naerveran
Aftur A Jordina
Tokan
